World Fellowship
The World Fellowship was established in 1987 in order to establish an international network of major supporters to fund the development of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award around the world.
The philanthropic gifts made by supporters of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award World Fellowship are fundamental in helping to support our work and the activities of the Award around the world.
The World Fellowship is a global leadership network of Chief Executives, Industry Leaders, International Ambassadors, Philanthropists and Founders of internationally successful businesses. We bring the World Fellowship together at events and meetings all around the world.
Partnerships
The Head of State Award Scheme works in collaboration with companies, educational institutions and charitable organisations around the world to achieve our shared ambitions and support young people to become committed, responsible and fulfilled citizens of the world.
With the help of our partners, we are steadily progressing towards our ambition that every 14-24 year-old in Ghana can have access to the Award.
We believe the Award framework can be a blueprint for successfully investing in human capital, specifically strengthening resilience, promoting global prosperity and helping the world’s most vulnerable. There are a variety of ways an organization can support the Award’s activity, so if you would like to join us in championing the next generation, then please get in touch with us for more information on how you can get involved.
Sponsorship

We run a number of events from fundraising galas to those designed to help our supporters to develop a greater understanding of the Award and how it helps millions of young people in Ghana to become world ready.
Help us to raise vital funds and greater support, by sponsoring one of our events, via a financial contribution and enjoy numerous benefits as a sponsor.

- Mr. Albert K. Essien
- World Fellow, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Int. Award.
“HRH The Duke of Edinburgh leaves us with an extremely powerful legacy, one that will outlast all of us who are honored to support it. A friend of mine once quoted that “attitude really does determine altitude”. In my experience the Duke of Edinburgh International Award (currently very active in over 130 countries around the world) is as potent a catalyst as any for developing positive attitudes about oneself and one’s community – core ingredients for the success and socially inclusive development of nations.
It is said that “the height of the tree is the depth of its roots”. May this mighty tree, planted by His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, continue to mature and yield cohorts of invigorated young women and men instilled with the confidence and determination to make positive contributions in their communities”
