Established in 1956, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award has over the past 65 years challenged and impacted on the life of millions of young people around the world. As a World Fellow, I have witnessed the transformational power of the Award Scheme as a non-formal educational framework for young people. Many young lives have been touched and changed by the Scheme, it has enhanced the competencies of our youth for life and work. It continuous to create good citizens of our beloved Country through voluntary community actions. The outcomes are truly inspirational.
